Dry Cleaning Process

  • Simple answer is yes! Our solvents replace the petrochemicals used in conventional dry cleaning. They are environmentally non-toxic and non-polluting. They also clean clothes exceptionally well, without harsh chemicals so colors stay bright and fibers do not wear. They are 100% odor-free. Your clothes are fresh and clean without that "dry cleaned" smell you may be used to. They are also non-allergenic and non-irritating.

  • Dry cleaning is a process of cleaning garments without water. We immerse clothes in an eco-safe solvent (in the dry cleaning machine) which removes soils and reconditions the fibers in the garments. The solvent is then extracted from the drum of the machine and is filtered and reused. It is more gentle on clothes that traditional wet cleaning.

  • Age is the biggest factor. If a stain has been sitting on fabric for a long time it becomes more difficult to get out. We stop stain removal when it is possible that treatment will pull color or weaken the fabric.

    Please note: If a Permission to Continue Stain Removal Release is signed, Model can continue to work on the stain. However, there is potential for damage or color loss to the fabric and the spot is not guaranteed to come out.

    Once the initial cleaning is paid for and the release is signed, Model will redo at no charge.

    When a garment of yours has a stain, please bring it to us as soon as possible. Chances are better for the stain to come out the sooner it is worked on.

  • Model does not spot-clean only. Spot-cleaning only will leave a stain mark where the stain was. The garment then has to be dry cleaned to blend out the fabric.

  • Model gives our customers the quality they deserve. Rather than pushing garments out the door as fast as possible, we add value at every stage. Our prices cover the best eco-friendly solvents and expert-trained spot removers, as well as living wages for all of our employees and allows us to support our community.

  • Model provides our best service and takes utmost care for all types of garments and labels, including Burberry, Lulu Lemon, Louis Vuitton, Michael Kors, Brooks Brothers and more.

Model Wash, Dry, Fold Service

  • Model’s WDF Service is a full-service laundromat that allows you to not have to do your own laundry and folding! We will wash and fold your clothes and package them in beautiful bundles that are easy to put away.

  • We can offer our WDF service through any of our store locations.

    However, for the ultimate convenience, pair the WDF service with your Elite Membership, and we will pick up and deliver your laundry right to your doorstep!

  • Model’s WDF service charges a flat rate of $47 per bag. Go ahead and stuff the bag, we don’t mind! Just be sure that the string will close on top of the bag so nothing falls out and you will be sure to get all of your laundry back!

    The bags for the service cost $7.50 each and can be purchased at one of our store locations of through our Pickup and Delivery Club.

Model elite Pickup Club

  • When you get a pickup, the driver will take your bag, scan the barcode to ensure it is assigned to your account, and leave behind another bag scanned to your account. This is our new process utilizing bar code technology. There is no longer a need for name tags unless you are in an office or apartment building where there are multiple customers.

  • Our elite pickup covers most of Southwestern PA and the Morgantown area of WV.

  • No…in fact the greater majority of our club members are not home for this service. That’s the very reason we offer it! We will simply place your cleaning in the area you designate, preferably out of the weather if at all possible.

  • The standard turn-around for regular dry cleaning and laundry is three days. Monday pickups are delivered on Thursday and vice versa.

    The same goes for Tuesday and Friday.

    Some items, such as households and alterations, will require a week turn-around time.

  • Upon your joining our Elite Pickup Club, you will place a credit/debit card on file. We will auto-charge that card the day of delivery.

    We accept all major credit cards.

  • For all members we do ask a modest bag handling fee for each pickup in order for us to keep your bags in pristine condition. If you ever notice a bag that you feel should be cleaned, please let us know!

    Other than that, our Members pay the same price as you would in one of our stores.
